This Resort overall was good. The maid service was my only complaint. We had to literally go and get our towels/washcloths after asking for 3 hours after we checked in and again another day to get extra washcloth and soap/shampoo. The grounds however are nice and the have sort of an all-inclusive food plan that upon check-in they deduct from your credit card. The 9 restaurants of the properties (Crowne TOWER, and the Holiday Inn) accepts the "Food Card" that is given to you when you check in and is charged to your credit card immediately. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CASH AT THEIR RESTAURANTS. This is a good thing if you are AWARE of this system before hand (which I was not). So I was forced to eat on their grounds since the money was Pre-deducted from my card. I think they average the amount they expect you to spend on food. In the end they will either credit or debit your account accordingly to what you actually spent on food.This resort IS NOT NEAR the beach, but if you want to relax on the grounds for your whole trip...it's a nice place. However, I would stay closer to the beach next time.
