Hotel, Resort & Villa Reviews: Bahamas: Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort 06/05/02

Just returned from a 7 day, all-inclusive vacation at this resort. If your looking for a view of paradise be sure to get a room that faces the pool. I was not impressed with the views from the sides of the hotel. All meals from the buffet dinning room were luke warm at best. Best meals were served at the Wahoo Bar and Grill next to the pool, but they would run out of some favorites on a regular basis. Oh, by the way, there are no brand name liquors in the hotel. Aristrocrat is the brand they use and no one ever was under the influence while I was there?? Pool is probably the best feature of the hotel. Game room had nothing in it for 4 days until a ping-pong table showed up! The elevator sounded like it was going to fall apart. It finally did and was down for 2 days while they repaired it. My wife says we will not return there. I quess that means our hard earned money will go to some other resort next year.. Not the best bang for the buck, even going all-inclusive...
