The Rose Is reef is a short shallow reef trip with several operators. We are boaters and followed some of these guys one day to a good spot. There are amazing number of fish - no sharks or rays but bring some bread and hundreds of Sargent Major fish will engulf you. They have a rule that there is no fishing within one mile from nassau so the fish are preserved. In many islands the close in reefs are denuded by bad fishing and trapping practices by the natives. I was pleasantly suprised - and I see alot of reefs.
There is also some thing like the Shark Islad experiece or some such thing - they take you to a Is off nassau - something like a Seaquarium and in water swim with the dolphins - I did not go but this is more commercial and expensive. Maybe 30-50 dollars.
