I am a boater and am visiting the Exumas this year in june-july
Last year we went to Eleuthra
The best spot I found so far is Harbor Island - great span of pink sand beach and a nice little town to keep the interest at night.
Other spots I found are more isolated and some of the best are accessible only by boat.
I Harbor Is try the Coral Sands or Pink Sands. One is VERY expensive and magnificent the other ( don't remember which) is right next door and mre to my pocketbook
Fly into North Eleuthra airport and take taxi and small ferry to Harbor Is.
Another recommendation is Elbow Cay off Marsh Harbor in Abaco
Try the White Sound Inn - right on a rocky outcrop with a salt water pool right on the bluff on a narrow part of the Is with the bay 100 yards behind. Elbow Cay town is a few miles away and is the most picturesque spot with a cozy harbor and a great lighthouse.
Hope this helps

I realize there are many islands in the Exumas and am also open to any suggestions regarding other out islands that fit my "green" requirements. I am not a fishing, boating enthusiast, merely a humble beach bum who needs crystal clear and calm waters without complete isolation.
