In case you have not already found out - Sandals in Bahamas is called Sandals Royal Bahamian on Cable Beach in Nassau.

Grand Bahama is a different island in the Bahamas chain and is about 45 minutes flying time from Nassau. There is no Sandals property on that island.

If you are concerned about the cost of the wedding at Sandals, contact the wedding department at the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. They may be able to offer other options less expensive - but you can still stay at Sandals it is a beautiful property.

The number to call is 888.687.8425 - they will give you initial information and can put you through to a wedding expert if needed.

I would do it all over again (in fact, we may in a few years from now!) I have heard that the Sandals Royal Bahamian is ALL that! It is also more expensive than the other Sandals I believe, but I think they all charge the same for your typical "small" wedding (which was $750 last year). Email me if you have specific questions and I will do my best to help you out. BEST WISHES!
