Joe, Bahamians feel about horses the way W.C. Fields felt about children; he liked them - - - broiled. When the Hobby Horse race track in Nassau closed some years ago the horses were left in their stalls to starve. A very lovely lady was running some horses for visitors to Club Med on San Salvador ( Columbus Island )and the nags shown on the promo piece on E tonight and last week were supposedly on New Providence where Nassau is located. Your hotel will know.
