Originally I had reservations at Atlantis however Disney changed their itinerary and now I can't get into Atlantis. Therefore now I've made a day room res. at the Raddison Cable beach. Having said all this I'd be very grateful if someone might help me with the followings points.

Paul,
I am not the expert about this but will tell you what I can. We just came back from there. We stayed on Paradise Island directly across the lagoon from Atlantis. It is a beautiful site.
As far as how close the Radisson is. If I remember correctly, from where the boats dock it would be about 10 miles. I know that the ferry will take you from the dock to Paradise Island and you can walk to the Atlantis. If it were me, I would suggest you get a room at the Comfort Inn. That way you could spend the day at the Atlantis.
Also, don't forget that you will want to go to the straw market and shop around town.
Here is another bulletin board that you can post for more answers.
