I recently stayed at the Nassau Beach Resort (March 1- 5, 1999) and had a wonderful time. The hotel is clean and the employees polite as any in the Bahama's.
It is not a 5 star resort with employees pampering the guests, but if you want an economical vacation in clean hotel, this is it.
It has 6 tennis courts and a beautiful beach. In fact, our beach was so nice that people from the Marriot Crystal Palace resort next door came to our beach rather than stay at theirs. The fitness center was better than most - it has 3 bikes, 3 treadmills and 2 stair climbers. It also has a complete free weight area and 15 weight machines.
We will definitely come back.
