Is this the best place for college aged singles? How about bars for the daytime? Any suggestions? Also, how much money should I allow for food? I want to stay away from everything I can eat here in the good old USA, so give me an idea. Any suggestions on places or what to eat would be great too. Anything else worth knowing would help too. I'm looking for all the info possible. Thanks in advance for all the help.
>I have stayed at the NBH before and one of the best "Bahamian" restaurants in Nassau is right at the hotel - Johnny Canoes! They have great food (the blackened grouper and conch fritters are wonderful) at fairly reasonable prices (for the Bahamas). Food is not cheap here - however there are your typical American fast food chains - but I'm with you - I can eat that stuff in the States. I am not sure where the good night life is - it has been a while since I was of Spring Break age!!! There is a really good Bahamas Newsgroup at www.interknowledge.com/bahamas/index.html - the people are very helpful and there is a lot more activity than there is on this board - so you may want to post there. Have a great vacation and leave some sun and fun for us - we are arriving at the NBH on 3/22!
