Hi Judy
I am not sure if you already got a response to this question but I went to the Bahamas in August and although it was hot, we had a great time. We went to the beach early and got out of the sun at the peak hours 11:00 - 1:30. We spent that time in the shade by the pool. I am going back this year in July. There is less people there at this time of year. Have a good trip
