We saw very little in the way of renovations. Our ocean view room was beautiful, clean and comfortable.
However, the hotel staff were horrible to us, especially on the beach. My husband and I are friendly people who rarely make waves, but we were made to feel like a real bother wherever we went, from the towel hut to the beach grill. We never had a smile returned. Never. And we weren't the only ones. I had to stand in line just to register my complaint with the hotel manager. Let's hope those with reservations get a friendlier shift of people on their trip.
