Hi! We were just mjarried at the Radisson in October - awesome place. Family oriented, games, health club, snorkeling, volley ball, bike riding, aerobics, etc. etc. Lots to do. You can go to town on the bus (everyday, if you like). The bus runs hourly (or more frequently) and picks up at the hotel., It's 0.75/person. There's a lot do in town too, shopping, take ferry over to Atlantis on Paridise Island (you MUST see this place, underground aquarium, sharks and sting rays in the pools - AWESOME.) The Radisson is very nice. The pools (w/ 2 waterfalls) and grounds are immaculate, (they were completely renovated aprox 2 yrs. ago)lots of palms, flowers, etc. The beach is NICE with small reefs you can snorkel out to. The all -inclusive plan is a MUST (especially w/ kids). YOU CAN EAT & DRINK ALL DAY IF YOU WANT TO. Otherwise the prices will be EXPENSIVE for a family of 5. The restaruants are very very nice. There are 6 of them. Reservations are required for dinner every evening. Make sure you make several reservations as soon as you get there because they fillup fast, and you will have to wait till 9 PM or so to get in. (i.e. make reservations on Monday for Mon, Tues and Wed at least, if you wait till that day to make the reservation you won't get in). All restaruants have dress codes for dinner - no T-shirts or shorts - bring nice casual clothes. Buffet breakfast every day is HUGE and eat all you want. All the food was very good!!!!!!!! The drinks were good, but not too strong, again, drink all you want. These get expensive too!
I would HIGHLY recommend this place to all!!!!
Hope this helps. Any questions, email me at home, delan@erols.com
