There are no ferries from Sth Florida to Nassau. There are cruises which leave from Miami or Fort Lauderdale however you cannot go from one and return to the other. You live aboard the ship while you are in Nassau. The other alternative is to fly and you can fly from Miami and back to Fort Lauderdale by American Eagle or by Gulfstream airlines. Accommodation prices vary so not sure how reasonable you want "any dollar amounts?" that way I can give you a suggestion.

Journey time by air from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau or Paradise Island is 55 minutes. Remeber to bring your passport or birth certificate for US immigration on your return from Bahamas. Voters registration is not an accepted proof of citizenship.
