I have stayed at the Casuarinas and found it to be a nice place for those that do not have the money for the larger hotels.
the good points:
1. It is very clean (the staff cleans the rooms and changes the sheets every day they also mop the floors (no carpet).
2. The staff is very nice and very helpful.
3. If there is a problem they are quick to take care of it.
the not so good points:
1. the beach or lack there of
2. If you want beach take the bus (75 cent charge) to the Radisson and hang out there.
3. The small lizards (yuck) after about a day you will realize that they mean you no harm.
4. There is nothing to do after 6 pm
I think that I would stay there again if there was a choice between staying there and not going to the bahamas.
best of luck
Benita
