My husband registered for a Bahama Cruise at a local business and a
few days later we were contacted by Security Travel letting us know
we had "won a free cruise to the Bahamas". We were required to pay
a administrative fee of $39.99 per person to get this cruise. The
information we received states we will have to pay a $198 (for 2
persons) port and service fee at the time we make our reservations.
The hotel accommodations are to be at the Redwood or the Island
Palm. In searching the Bahamas on the internet, I was unable to find
either.
We would appreiciate any information available as to wether this
"free cruise" is legitimate. The brochure we received from Security
Travel does state there are no time-shares involved. Are we being
ripped off?
